a doll is art

Tired, I wrap my tail around and rest my head against it. Enjoying the doll's calm stillness and quiet demeanor, I feel at ease.

A broken doll. And its witch tinkers with it. Trying to put it back together. Sometimes the work comes easy. Most times it doesn't. But on the witch works. Dedicated, tireless. Determined. She will fix it yet.

A doll that is bound for a place away from its witch. Its witch waits by the door as it gathers its belongings. It doesn't know how long it'll be away. But it is, eventually, to return home. But, again, it doesn't know how long it will be away.
