Five years ago, we all applauded nurses, public health, and health care workers every evening for saving lives. Today, the federal government does not consider these workers professional. This says everything about the state of US health care.

Really sick of these people on FB who laugh react at all the general posts about vaccines and anything mentioning covid yet no laugh emoji when it comes to kids dying from vaccine-preventable diseases. Hopefully they're bots, but the autistic in me is just mad at the dissonance of it all.

We really need to try and get rid of the โduring covidโ and โduring the pandemicโ word choices. Covid is now. It never left. It continues to infect and DISABLE people, whether you see it or not.

What do you think is worse - covid or secondhand smoke? Sigh. I just want to have clean air during my lunch break.

We decided to go ahead and schedule our covid vaccine and not wait for Novavax. :( It's hard waiting and waiting and not knowing when it will arrive in our area. Mainly, I want to be immunized and have it take effect before I go back to work at the hospital due to lunch break conditions.

"During Covid" is today. "During Covid" is the current hour, and the hour that follows. "During Covid" is now, at this moment, because the pandemic of Covid-19 is still ongoing.

Do you unfriend/unfollow people over ethical/moral views that are vastly against what you believe? Makes me feel almost sick for the kind of people I used to associate with in the formative years of my youth and young adulthood. :(

Trump publicly praises a murdered white supremacist. But refuses to even acknowledge the domestic terrorism attack on a federal institutionโor the police officer murdered protecting fed employees. His silence speaks volumes. (Thx to whoever made this image - apologies for not giving you credit!)

@#$% people on FB. The moment some kid dies from a vaccine-preventable disease, no laugh emojis on the post. The moment you talk about promoting vaccines for kids, the laugh emojis will be there. Bunch of wack jobs out there.

If RFKJ succeeds in taking away SSRIs , I wonโt be the same person I am today. My mental disability will get worse, and I will likely have to quit my hospital job. I will not be a pleasant person to work with at my main job.

Why does everyone everywhere see a bunch of sickness going around and think, "I need to up my vitamins and immunity boosts?" That is fine, but most importantly, you should be prioritizing mask-wearing w/a KN95/KF94/N95-level type mask. Please guys. Tell me you learned something in the past 6 years.

There are lots of rumors flying around about what might happen to COVID vaccine access, but please note we still do not have any official news yet. While we wait, there are things you can do: 1๏ธโฃ Wear a mask to prevent COVID transmission 2๏ธโฃ Push your elected officials to speak up about vaccine access

Even though I wish my surgery were earlier this year, the timing of it could have been a blessing in disguise. With covid having the usual summer surge, it's better for me to be at home, away from covid spreading all over FL. Illness left and right.

Covid continues to hover around me every day, it seems. :( But I will continue to fight and resist with my mask. 4 days until my surgery. I just REALLY need to continue being well until then (and hopefully long after).

While on our trip, I heard my first negative reaction to us masking. Some teen/young adult said out loud, "Covid's over!" loud enough for us to hear. Paul mumbled. They said something about the mumbling. Then repeated, "Covid's over!" again. This time Paul bolted back up the stairs to them.

Omg, I've been wanting to say this somewhere where it was relevant. Before Epic opened, I was walking BOH when I saw a mama cat with her kittens near one of the trailers near our base. I wonder if these two are from that litter?!?

Was having tailbone pain. Paul asked what he could do for me. I said I needed a donut pillow. Which I currently donโt have. So he made a donut pillow for me with his legs. Pain gone for this moment.

220k daily infections currently, with new variants. Fauci said in Nov 2021 that we had to get below 10k daily cases to have any sort of control or normalcy. That target was completely abandoned. Not because "COVID is over/mild" but because the economy couldn't wait any longer.
