I'm not familiar with this specific situation but it resonates with something I've found myself observing a lot, which is that subsets of fandom feel entitled to have a character be whomever they want them to be in order to fulfil their fantasies (erotic or otherwise)

I had an idea: guy asks a genie for a toilet with a completely frictionless surface, idea being poop wouldn't stick to the bowl. But he specified inadequately, and now you can't stay seated in one place atop it long enough to take a shit.
