My favorite dinosaur, since I was a kid, is NOT an ancestor to birds. It’s probably one of the more “tame” and “boring” quadrupedal types, the ankylosaurus. Their spikes could get wild and that tail was their own whacking stick. Probably a dangerous cuddle, but I imagine they were like cows.

My chihuahua and lab were rescues, too. They’re both very chill and only aggressive toward the doorbell. If we let someone in they just want attention. I’m glad we could give them a calm home and they’re calm for us.

I don’t think disclosure of the methods of making a game are bad. Fuckin everyone is proud of putting Unreal Engine # Whatever and whatever video encoder, sound software, “optimized for GeForce” logos—it’s the ingredients on the side of the box. Maybe we SHOULD know more about what goes into a game.

Yesterday, as is our annual tradition, we watched the entire LOTR trilogy in one day. We take a lot of breaks for motion, meals, so it takes a while. Went to bed at almost 1am. I don’t recall who I saw say it, but they said the LOTR shows that even in the end Frodo fails.
