Political violence is definately not teh right way. It's why I left the far right. It's also why I believe this was probably a right-winger... but there are better ways... no matter which side you are on.

My BSPH in infection control came up in a convo. The reason I chose that path was because I was once anti-vaxx. However, it turns out to be a surprisingly helpful tool in extremism prevention. Far-right extremism is an addictive cult that spreads like an infection and has reservoirs and vectors.

Because of my BSPH and infection control background, I do also tend to do a lot of work with a lot of anti-vaxxers.

We currently do not provide any therapy or other services that require licensure. That will change after I finish my MSW and work on getting my LCSW licensure. We DO help clients find therapists and other services, however.

Many Hands of Eir clients and associates also enjoy talking to researchers, educators, and journalists... sometimes using a pseudonym, sometimes openly, depending on the person. Reaching out to me is a great way to facilitate that.

We also have a client who was an NSBM musician associated with White Lives Matter Oregon, but I couldn't fit that into the previous post.

In particular, I seem to get a lot of accelerationists.

Examples of far-right groups that some of our associates and clients have been a part of: Pioneer Little Europe Kalispell, Stormfront, Asatru Folk Assembly, Oath Keepers, Atomwaffen Division, Order of Nine Angles, Tempel ov Blood, several skinhead groups, National Socialist Movement, Patriot Front.

We are all volunteers.

I also want to note that we have several new members of the CEPI-HEIR family in @doubtisthewayout.bsky.social, @intothestewniverse.bsky.social, @antifashpdxart.bsky.social, and @catzmeow.bsky.social who are all helping us grow to be able to assist more individuals. Many have their own projects.

We are also starting to take MSW practicum students. I, myself, am one, and we will be taking a second practicum student in the fall. If you are an MSW student and interested, please let me know, and I will connect you with Danny, who is the only qualified practicum supervisor until I graduate.

Hands of Eir is currently growing. And since the original NGO has been renamed the Center for Extremism Prevention and Intervention, it will expand its focus to a more preventative role. CEPI is run by @drdwcii.bsky.social while I still run the Hands of Eir program side of things.

I even had one client who came to us because I ripped him apart on Twitter.

We specialize in former members of far-right extremist groups who are LGBTQ+ and/or are pagan/heathen, but we have had clients of all kinds for many reasons. Even TradCaths and Evangelicals have come to us to learn how to understand LGBTQ+ people better... to move beyond their discomfort.

We also charge a big fat $0 and have no operating costs.

Beyond that... Hands of Eir doesn't do much beyond acting as a facilitator of personal change. Deradicalization is in the hands of the person being deradicalized. No one does it for them.
