Thank you to His Excellency Manar Dabbas, Jordan’s Ambassador to the UK, for taking the time to meet with me. We discussed Middle East peace and the urgent need to get more humanitarian aid into Gaza.

I’ve been campaigning against animal testing since I was 12. Glad to be joined by so many MPs at this LUSH event in Parliament. I’ve never seen so many staff coming along (there were LUSH goodie bags 😉)

A really great visit to #Roehampton Gate School ahead of the SEND White Paper, meeting brilliant students and talking about politics as they launch their new student voice programme. Inspiring to see young people shaping their own futures.

Thanks to Our Roehampton for a fantastic year round up for Roehampton organisations. I went with Cllr Yates and Cllr Henderson. We heard from Sanctuary for Sisterhood, Sparkle and the Community Garden.

It was an honour to be invited to the Christmas reception at 10 Downing Street and to invite Deacon Kathy from Roehampton to join me. We had mulled wine, carols, prayers and met the PM.

South Thames College hosted a really productive meeting of police, council saftey teams and local schools this week. I convened the meeting after Southside Shopping Centre shared concerns about increasing anti-social behaviour.

I want to choose cruelty-free food but the labels are confusing. Really glad to support the Compassion in World Farming campaign for a clear, standard food labelling. @ciwf.org.uk

Putney has Deliveroo Restaurant Awards winners! 🏆 Big congratulations to Rajah Rowing, and Base Face Pizza, voted for by customers. It was great to visit both restaurants and try their food. Do go and give them a try! 🍕

Good meeting with Lawrence Bowman, CEO of South Western Railways. We discussed the timetable for the £20m lifts and new entrance at Wandsworth Town station, the roll-out of Arterio trains, and reducing noise at Putney station. I’ll keep pushing for better journeys! 🚆

The White Ribbon Parade was a powerful show of strength in Roehampton. Thanks to the SW15 womens group, Council and police for their support. It’s the last day of the 16 days of activism against violence against women and girls - but the work continues.

I'm in Sarajevo for #GenocidePrevention Day with the Foreign Affairs Committee. 30 years after the Srebrenica genocide, we’re investigating how disinformation fuels division and denial. Genocide isn’t inevitable, if action is taken early, genocide can be prevented.

Special message to the CEO of BT, Please help Putney by removing two unused phone boxes, making a real difference to Putney High Street. These boxes are preventing a bus lay-by being created. As a result, buses have no choice but to stop in the road, causing congestion.

As a big Strictly fan it was amazing to meet Shirley who was in Parliament to talk about the lung disease COPD and the #BreatheEqual campaign. We both have mums who have COPD and support the campaign for more prevention.

I spoke in the Budget debate on why ending the cruel two child benefit cap is the best single way to cut child poverty - it’s directly good for 2,310 children in Putney - but also good for our whole community. Thanks to everyone who has joined me in campaigning for this.
