Terrible news for the #Sounders as Yeimar Gómez Andrade looks to be injured, unable to continue and heads directly to the locker room. Seattle is extremely thin at center back, making this potential injury that much more concerning if the #Colombian 🇨🇴 is out for some time. It look pretty bad IMO

Back at Providence Swedish Performance this morning and unfortunately this is the 3rd day Paul Rothrock has been absent from #Sounders training. No word on the severity of his injury but it is something to monitor. Good news is that Georgi seems to be in full training again.

Georgi Minoungou appears to be in full training this morning. As Schmetzer indicated, Georgi does have a some sort of small fracture at the bottom of his right foot and his availability will depend pain tolerance. On the other hand Paul Rothrock not out here today 🤔 #Sounders

Partial good news from the #Sounders Brian Schmetzer shared that Hassani Dotson is not in concussion protocol but unfortunately Jordan Morris will be out approximately 4 weeks with a grade 1A quad injury. For what is worth, at least it is not a long term injury for Jordan.

It is the #Sounders coming up on top 3-1 over Hammarby in a game that was controlled by the #MLS side for the most part. Osaze De Rosario continues to impress in pre-season scoring a brace, while Jesus Ferreira was a huge part of chance creation and had a goal of his own.

Per sources: Defender Nouhou Tolo has signed a contract extension with #Sounders through June 2028 with a club option for the 2028-2029 season. I'm told several teams in & out of #MLS showed interest in Nouhou, including 🇫🇷 Ligue 1 club Lyon but none met Seattle’s price tag at this time.

I take no joy is being this guy, but the report circulating that claims CL Merlo is reporting an imminent Obed Vargas transfer is taking what he said somewhat out of context. What he said is what @elrolonw.bsky.social and I have been saying for weeks: that we are in crunch time for a potential move.
