A few key MLS roster rule changes: - Unlimited Cash for Player trades. Clubs limited to 2 in, 2 out last season. This strengthens the internal transfer market. - No age limits on intra-league loans. Better players available. - No deadline for players to receive domestic status. More flexibility.

MLS just announced updated Transfer Window dates for 2026. The Primary Window will open on Jan. 26 and close on Mar. 26, while the Secondary Window will open on July 13 and close on Sept. 2 The Secondary extends into September for the first time in two decades (excluding the COVID affected 2020).

Sounders roster decisions are out. Yeimar Gómez Andrade, Osaze De Rosario, Kim Kee-hee, Kalani Kossa-Rienzi, Danny Musovski, Nouhou and Obed Vargas all had their options exercised.

San Diego beats Minnesota 1-0 with 1 shot on target. And the expansion side will host Vancouver in the West Final on Saturday. Winner faces the winner of Miami vs NYCFC in MLS Cup the following weekend.

Missed sharing this a couple days ago while I've been sick. Major change coming to MLS. Obviously going to be jarring initially for northern city fans, but I think the schedule makers will do a good job and it won't be too bad for colder climates. I think it'll be a net positive.

FIFA has announced finalists for the annual Marta and Puskas awards, recognizing the best men's and women's goals of the year. Seattle has two entries of the 22 total. On the men's side, Pedro de la Vega against Cruz Azul on 7/31. On the women's side, Jordyn Bugg against North Carolina on 3/22.
