On this day in 1965, the Ornette Coleman Trio played the first of three sets over two days at The Golden Circle in Stockholm, Sweden. All three sets were recorded, and selctions from them were later issued as At The Golden Circle Stockholm Volumes One and Two.

The Düben meantone organ at Stockholm's Tyska Kyrkan is a special instrument with 13 notes per octave (instead of the standard 12) and is tuned at A = 466 Hz (instead of the standard 440 Hz).
