It has been over a year and a pretty hard slog but today I am finished with "The Blue Hour" for violin and piano, composed for Sarah Saviet & Joe Houston which will get its premiere at Donaueschingen Musiktage on October 18th and a UK premiere @hcmfuk.bsky.social in November.

Kansan Zetterberg solo concert today at Yeshin Norbu. Have been lucky to hear him up close a few times this last year (Anna Högberg recording, Christer Bothén 3) and he really has an incredible sound on the bass. He also has a wonderfully mischievous energy. Good combo. Looking forward to this.
