This week my pastoral work is walking in grief with a former member at a distance as their father dies. One of the few times I really wish I had a co-minister so I could get up and go be with them. Pray for Jerry as he enters hospice care and for Sid and Debbie as they prepare for their loss.

At my local coffee shop (okay, it's a SBux, small towns are hard) and my fave barista wrote "sexy mama" and "bestie shawtie bae" on my cup which did, in fact, give me the strength to finish editing my sermon.

Got my car dug out from the airport parking lot ice and snow today and therefore was able to get groceries for the first time since I got home Friday THANK GOD
