We've grown more and more interested in the role of fatigue in shaping locomotor behavior. Our latest paper points to a functional consequence of the increased physiological demand placed on calf muscles when operating at shorter lengths—namely accelerated fatigue. peerj.com/articles/198...

But also: these scholars moved from all over the world, often with personal sacrifice, to work here. they are part of our broader Cambridge and MA community, too. They have lives here: partners with jobs, families, kids in school, apartment leases, pets, friends, etc.
