I'm obviously not happy about the state of the world, but not sure about the level I want to emote about it on social media. Sometimes when I scroll memes, articles, and hot takes make me feel like I'm not alone in the world, and sometimes it just ramps up my own bad feelings.

I read my poetry at Carlow University today, as part of their Red Dog student reading series. I read, students read, they asked me insightful questions about my work. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
