Really enjoy comics by @gailsimone.bsky.social but I never got into the Spawn comics. Is this new series one that a newcomer can jump into or does one need to know the Spawn lore beforehand?

#ZZZ released its S3 teaser trailer and i think they missed the mark with these character designs. Besides only having 1 male character, the designs just look like generic gacha slop. No robots, furries, or anything interesting and totally dropped the modern urban aesthetic the game was known for
