I found this book “Wars and Conspiracies That Changed the World: Made by the Freemasons” in the investigator’s office at Branch 215 in Damascus. This is the same room where I was tortured in 2011. The man beating me believed revolutions were Zionist plots, and the world was run by the Freemasons.

Just found a 1976 Arabic translation of “The History of the German Army” by Benoist-Méchin… in a military police prison in Qaboun, rural Damascus. Syrian prisons: where fascist literature survives better than the inmates.

In countries emerging from bloody conflicts, transitional justice has been key to stabilization and preventing collapse.

This is part of the testimony of French journalist Nicolas Hénin, who was held captive by ISIS in Syria between 2013 and 2014. Hénin recounted his experience in an article published by the ISIS Prisons Museum on its website, revealing details of the 300 days he spent in captivity. @nicolashenin.net
