Catching up a bit, now that the big project is out of my brain! 12.29 - I met a gentleman at AG and we've been hanging out, and I promised to draw him, and he's a ten-foot-tall hot demon. It's a weird thing to focus on but that sleeve is maybe the best I've ever done.

last night I spent like four hours on Crystal in a hug fest / cuddle pile at my favourite hangout/bar/art cult and then immediately met up with my new static on Primal and parsed a 99 on M12N finally living the full Eorzea Experience

Tonight I hopped on the Afterglow party bus and we spent the evening on the balcony at the Kaguya Jazz Bar holiday party. The AG crew is so supportive of their artists (and weird hangers-on like me who are just learning). A silly fun night of music and art.

I did this year's Starlight event today, and my house now has a Lominsan mug in it. Mmm, hot citrus on a cold night.

Last night I went to the Starlight Festival, hosted by Crossroads, a whole neighbourhood of houses and plazas done up for the season with music, artists, roving characters, chocobo carts, food and more. For today's practice, I went to The Emporium, a branch of the Stormslayer Trading Company. I realized I draw/shade fabric well, probably because I make clothes and costumes irl, so I stare at fabric a lot, and thought it would be fun to practice fancy clothes! theemporiumrp.crd.co

In addition to sitting in venues and learning to draw, I - crochet amigurumi and am about 90% done making a plush yan - raid -- but we're between tiers so it's all arts and crafts, but look forward to that in January - have a Fanfest ticket (along with one of my statics) so come say hi!

I'm not good at drawing/art, but I like to try. A couple of friends in FF14 have been encouraging me to practice more. We go to these "art parties" where people doodle each other or do artsy screenshots or hang out and vibe, then post and share. I'm... not awful! And it's fun to try. #lofiartparty
