Three thoughts from this one: 1. Given the schedule and absence of Surridge, this a draw at best for previous NSC teams. This year is just different. 2. Hany’s work rate was astounding all week. He is 31. 3. Cristian Espinoza is a dude. Every game you see how he’s been a perfect addition for NSC.

FT: Nashville can't find the back of the net, sharing a 0-0 draw with Club América in the first leg of their Concacaf Champions Cup Quarterfinal.

Fantastic ball from Corcoran to pick out Surridge in the box. He gets the ball stuck under his feet and goes down. Certainly looked like there was contact from Sánchez, but no penalty given.

The second half has so far been a continuation of the first, which doesn't bode well for Nashville. Surridge had a pretty good penalty shot, but the ref wasn't interested. Regardless, Surridge hasn't been himself tonight and has missed a couple of opportunities. #EveryoneN
