I'm almost done with my sci-fi vampire horror comedy novel. So... if any agents or publishers (indie or otherwise) think they can shelve it, hit me up.

77% through my new vampire novel, and I have absolutely no vampire lore knowledge. I’m just making it up. Yknow, like every other vampire writer ever.

I know people say to have a polished draft in your pocket before you start querying, but I've been down this road before, and it's very tempting to just send the letters out now so I can get all the rejection letters out of the way by the time we're ready to publish, lol.

Just asked ChatGPT why the book I’m writing probably won’t win a Hugo, and this is one of the reasons it gave me.

Saying “back in 2005” today is like saying “back in 1985” in 2005. Chew on that.

Writing a vampire novel is 90% trying to remember what the rules of the book you wrote 17 years ago were, and 5% arguing with autocorrect that "unsheathed" is actually a word and PLEASE STOP CHANGING IT!
