Looking forward to facilitating @prereview.bsky.social 2h Open Reviewers workshop with @vanessafairhurst.bsky.social tomorrow as part of #SIPS2025 online sessions. Together we will explore how systems of oppression manifests in peer review and what we can do about it.

I was set to go to Salem today & join the 10s of 1000s of people rallying to #standupforscience. My son got sick, so it was a no go. As I play with my snotty toddler, I can’t help to think about the fact that what we should be standing up for is freedom, democracy, the right to exist in dignity.
