I don't think I've ever read something that so perfectly encapsulates my views on the subjects. I truly wish the US (and the world in general, tbf) had more robust environmental regulation. I could say "more accessible technology is good, actually." without sounding like I want to pave the oceans.

I think that fundamentally we cannot build the future we want on negativity alone. The broken hearts of this world will never be fixed by dunks and cynicism. The best future involves you living your best life free of resentment and full of the confidence gained from doing the work of finding joy.

Yo this game's pretty addictive. Unlike factorio you really have to think about how you can separate the materials and avoid clogging. The sand is coarse, rough, and gets everywhere. There's already a ton of content, only thing lacking is QOL (still early days).

i don't have a good answer for this, but i do think that there needs to be some sort of incentive for labs to not only release open models as a way of attracting customers before locking things down, but to also keep the future models open as well.
