Just had to go get a blood test done with the NHS and I was out 2 minutes before my appointment was even due to start... Needless to say, I bought a lottery ticket on the way home.

Sat in the airport awaiting my flight home from Gamescom. Tired, but man is my heart full. For all the trials and tribulations of this industry it has the kindest, most giving people I've ever met. 16yrs I've been here and that wouldn't be the case without the help of the amazing people in it.

Well it took me most of the evening to make it not cost the world but... I'm off to Gamescom! I've never been to either Gamescom or Germany so I'm very excited. Less excited about the 06:50 flight time and possible murder hotel I'm staying in...

This, so much this, especially for newer actors. If you're at an industry event, you're all ready "in", you don't have to impress everyone or treat every conversation like a potential casting. Be genuine, love the work and make friends, that's it.

Capitalism just doesn't work y'all. Was looking at doing Gamescom, using one hotel as an example: Art Rock Downtown Hotel 3 nights during Gamescom = £2,128 Same 3 nights a week later = £205 How?! Why?!

Trading in a camera (that needs a new internal battery),AI chat bot told me to request a quote online and note the battery condition. When I told the AI bot there isn't any way to note the issue, it just went "Oh yeah, there isn't, send the camera anyway" HOW DO PEOPLE THINK THIS IS THE FUTURE?!

Played the Dispatch demo today and holy shit... the writing and performances are some of the best I've seen in recent years. Can't wait to pick this up on launch, immediate wishlist.

Yesterday I played a game demo on stream that contained AI voices. My chat and I caught it immediately, quick search confirmed it was an AI voice and would remain so at launch. Immediately stopped playing and uninstalled, my community abandoned the game as well. But at least they saved money...

I've been producing Beyond the Wall of Sleep this weekend and sharing the audio and video editing with my Discord. We calculated that to record a 38 minute story, edit the audio, the video, subtitling, thumbnails etc. took.... 6 hours. All that to say, shit takes longer than people think!
