After spending most of the day searching I finally found 2 Silver-studded Blues of the ssp caernensis on the Great Orme right at the death today. This ssp has females with blue on the upper wing and they’ve been on my wanted list for a while 😀

Some rather unusually coloured Sweet Violets on a verge in Pulham Market, South Norfolk today 😍

Fantastic to see the first few hoverflies out in the warm temperatures - this Yellow-bowed Smoothwing, Scaeva selenitica was nectaring on Wild Daffodils in Dunwich Forest, Suffolk yesterday. And was a new species for me 😀

Despite an excellent day birding in North Norfolk yesterday the only thing I got a decent photo of was this female Goosander on Bayfield Lake!

The warm weather has brought out the amphibians - a nice comparison between Common Frog and Common Toad 😀

A fantastic (and rare for me!) day birding in North Norfolk today. Featuring Lesser White-fronted Geese, Glossy Ibis, Cattle Egret, Goosander, Pallid Harrier, Hen Harriers, Merlins, Peregrine and Spoonbill. The only actual tick however was this Benzoin Bracket at Natural Surroundings!
