When will legislators learn that wasting precious resources (money & time) on BS like this should have been spent on more crucial topics instead 🤬 Breaking E2E is sabotaging the fundamentals of the modern internet and security. Putting everyone under mass surveillance is an act of a police state.

I understand wanting to keep the net safe, but assuming everyone needs surveillance as a potential committer of crimes is against our fundamental rights and values.

This is incredibly handy and takes only a moment. It's in English so I ended up translating the text in Spanish as I live in Spain, but it groups up all the emails of your country's reps so you can send it to all of them.

if you arent in the EU this is really important to spread as much as possible because it will absolutely also affect you. If you are in the EU, I reccomend going on the website. It has a really simple email generator to send to your local representative.

Only THREE European countries are opposing this. What the fUCK? Contact you reps!! DO IT. You know this is bad because the reps who are in favor of it want to be EXEMPT FROM IT.

This website is useful, you'll find the contact info of your reps there. Also some countries started petitions about this. Btw I'm tired too, to fight for basic rights again and again, but to me we're at a turning point with fascism, we have to work on this now, the stakes are just too important!
