I shared a video of a wonderful book, Shining Bright, Shining Black and this is the first comment. The video hasn’t even been up for 30 minutes. It’s the first day of Black History Month

Can someone explain to me why the department of education, a federally run agency, is encouraging people to find a PRIVATE SCHOOL on their website?

If you have the Target Red Card you can call to have it cut off. They will ask why, and try to convince you not to. Tell them why they are recording it. 1-800-424-6888. You will need the last 4 digits of your card number.

I’m inviting you to no longer prioritize places that are actively engaging in behavior that works to oppress groups that have been marginalized. this is incredibly disappointing. We can spend our money in places that continue to uplift and support ALL people.

In a surprise to no one, libraries and time spent in libraries (with a certified librarian) prove beneficial to children! Now if the rest of the nation would recognize the power of libraries, we’d be in a better place.

This is an incalculable loss but Nikki Giovanni lived a grand and interesting life; that will always be a gift. May she rest in power.

Ok answer the following: What gender is suspended more often? Are disabled children suspended more or less often than their peers? What race of student is suspended more often and by what percentage? Keep in mind these are preschool aged students
