Chachapo and Thancred broke up shortly after they reunited in Heavensward. Finding out the woman you love got engaged while you were fighting for your life in the wilds does complicate things, especially when she thought you were dead this whole time.

Vatti’s break-up with Orn Guincum wasn’t by anyone’s choice. Vatti was teleported five years into the future while Orn (and nearly everyone else) had forgotten who he was. By the time they finally reunited his memory was back, but so much time had passed for him he had basically moved on.

Chachapo was a lot more quiet. She wasn’t out as trans yet and she was being taught the mercantile trade by her father because she was expected to take it over when her parents retired. She never really wanted to but she didn’t have the nerve to tell her parents.

It depends on the character, and I have a bunch of background characters I made for Naughty Popoto House. Most of them came about as random ideas I had for other WoLs, like my half-Elezen half-Lalafell character, Seraphin, and my Qestir Au Ra girl who spoke, Chahka.

A lot of people went to the Naughty Popoto House once they found out it was owned by the Warrior of Light. Many were disappointed to find out she was so rarely available to hire, but I think saving the universe is a fair explanation. Business with the other sex workers there still went up, too.

Before the Calamity, Vatti did some work with the Maelstrum and started a relationship with Orn Guincum. Orn was his first partner and the one who took his virginity. Sadly, when Vatti was cast I to the future by Louisoix nearly everyone forgot him, including Orn.
