This is Grace. She’s a Pink Princess Philodendron I got from Wegmans a few weeks ago. She looked pretty sad in the beginning, but I gave her some new soil, worm castings, and lots of light, and she rewarded me with a new leaf. 🥰

Update: At the end of August, I came home from PT and saw the last 8-10” of the snake slither under my crawl space door. I looked but couldn’t find him, and I haven’t seen him since. I named him Günter. I guess he lives with me now. #WelcomeThisIsASnakeHouse

Update: as far as I know, it's still hiding out in its hole. The storms last night most likely scared it enough to stay in there. I don't think the traps are going to work, so I'm hoping today it just leaves because there's no food. Should have grabbed it myself when I had the chance....

Update: the snake removal guy set up two traps - one outside, and one inside, in the laundry room, once we determined that it *can* get into the house from where it is. Currently, it's peeking its head out and I am trying to coax him into leaving.

For the first time in 82 shows, Phish played a show full of songs I’ve already seen, but I’ll gladly throw the streak on the altar of sacrifice for a Tweezer -> Ghost like that. It was a great 31 years of the streak. I had a blast. Best band. Most fun. Can’t wait for Chicago.

Update: it slithered into a hole in the side of the house. I do not know where this hole goes.
