Phase 6 for shiny 1% Dustox is Buneary only around 3 hours after the last shiny! What in the world…

Phase 5 for shiny 1% Dustox is Budew! Very pretty shiny and VERY under odds. Kid you not I had only been hunting for 6 minutes. What.

Phase 4 for shiny 1% Dustox is another shiny Buneary! Crossing my fingers that I’ll get something new next time around- have yet to get Budew despite its high encounter rate.

Phase 3 for shiny 1% Dustox is done! 9184 encounters for shiny Buneary. My first one so far, but I highly doubt it’ll be the last!

Also there’s an interesting glitch in Platinum wild double battles where a Pokemon’s sprite could glitch out if a shiny spawns! Only seems to happen if the regular Pokémon has a longer animation than the shiny one. As a fan of both shinies and glitches, I’m thriving!

Phase 2 for 1% Dustox is complete! Kinda surprised it wasn’t Budew or Buneary but we take this!

These encounters are flying by! No shiny yet but let’s be real- I’ve already gotten 4 full-odds shinies this year. Big number is deserved.

Oh also guys there’s no way I’m getting it on the first phase because phase 1 ended last year! Shiny hoothoot on route 205 (dustox has the same encounter rate there) on the cursed ds lite :) But phase two? Still doable. Highly unlikely.

10k encounters, 97 of which were dustox. All in one day. Pretty solid pace. At this rate I could hit odds for the 1% shiny dustox in three months! But I won’t because I don’t have THAT much time on my hands lol

31,785 encounters for four shinies so far! Averaging 7,946.25 encounters per shiny. I’m under odds! Yippee!!
