Just remembered like 5 years ago when someone I didn't know DMed me and gave me advice for the 1st two Hollow Knight bosses despite me not owning the game at the time A few years later whenever I actually did get the game I remembered that and it helped a surprising amount Thanks to whoever that was

I think it’s ok to respectfully critique things, but it’s weird to see fans who turn their entire personality into hating on something and wishing for people who made a thing to suffer. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. I wish people would be kinder to themselves and others.

I found so much peace from focusing on things I like instead of things I disliked about media/fandoms. It’s good to just move on to something else if you didn’t enjoy something. I wish people in fan spaces wouldn’t send hate to creators of series.
