On Saturday May 2, 2026 I was graced with the presence of actress Lea Michelle performing in CHESS at the Imperial Theater, one of the Best Plays I’ve ever seen on B-way. She was overlooked by the Tony nomination for Best Actress in a musical. This is outrageous. She was magnificent! Catch her show!

Ken Russell’s THE DEVILS (1971), based on a true incident of Satanic possession/mass hysteria in 17th Century France was too much for British and U.S. censors back in ‘71. It was cut to ribbons. Warner Brothers was too chicken to release it uncut till 55 years later this year. Restored in 4K
