Sky Daddy by Kate Folk was refreshing. The main character was incredibly awkward through the whole book to the point of it being uncomfortable and it was something the author never backed out of. Through the whole book I was worried about the ending but, I was delighted when I finished it.

The fact that I have to go to work tomorrow is rough

ummmmmmmm, so I was scrolling on TikTok and an ad comes up for fashion accessories and tell me why the first slide is a swastika necklace that has been titled “hip hop titanium steel pendant” WHAT the next slides were all normal stuff. I reported it as a discriminatory or offensive item.

Today at work I was frustrated because I found out I’ve been doing something wrong for a while and nobody mentioned it to me (something that is easily fixed, mind you) and I was going back and forth between being annoyed with myself and the other people involved and then I thought about this

I finished I Love LA and it’s one of my favorite shows of the year, right up there with The Studio. I also really enjoyed the current season of Abbott Elementary, and Bob’s Burgers.

I started watching I Love LA while I make cookie dough and I’m happy to report that I love it.

My sister wanted to make Christmas cookies with her kids but didn’t know if she would have time so I offered to make the dough and icing and bring it to their house so we could do the fun part together.

I bought my dad a book about cryptids that I’m annotating before I give it to him for Christmas and I’m once again reminded that for some reason people’s first reaction to seeing a creature they believe nobody has ever seen before IS TO SHOOT IT. Why????

This year for Christmas I bought books for everyone that I’m reading and annotating, and making a felt ornament to go with it. I’m really proud of the little guy I just made for my niece to go along with Horns to Toes and in Between by Sandra Boynton It’s not a perfect replica but it’s cute!

I’m not a big holiday movie person, but I just want it to be known that I have in fact watched three so far this year.
