It sucks that people who gas up Wuthering Waves can’t stop comparing it to other Hoyoverse games because Wuwa can genuinely stand on its own as a good game but a solid 50% of Gacha players have never played another video game outside of it

I can see this appealing to people who have never played an action or fighting game in their lives but like.. I've played the entire DMC catalog, Bayo 1, ArcSys Fighters, SF, etc. Like why wouldn't I just play those games if you're just gonna take inspiration and dumb it down instead of innovating?

It's genuinely so depressing to see the world that they've made with its great aesthetics and style be wasted on a combat system made in 2016 for mobile devices. On top of the classic Hoyoverse padding and fluff they put for the sake of being there it just fucking sucks man
