I think Falcom genuinely has the best hybrid turn based/action system. The two systems work in concert, they are not an either/or nor do they evolve ATB into action. It’s a true hybrid system.

I don’t think Expedition 33 explores the themes of grief very well at all. At least when it comes to the later half of the game. 🏃‍♂️

The fact that Apothecary Diaries lost in nearly every category it was nominated in for the anime awards is just a sign that anime watchers are seeing bright flashy action and their lizard brains are taking over.

If I was still in charge of voting/judging for the anime awards, personally, I'd want to do it like The Game Awards: fan votes account for just 10% of the final result. Enough to break a tie, but not enough for a Solo Leveling sweep (especially for s1).
