sometimes i'll check the accounts reposting my little critter monk drawings and they'll just be sandwiched between massive walls of porn and i feel like the chillout table at an orgy handing out bottled water and orange slices.

One of my most favorite things is talking to artists about drawing and the processes of it. I want to preface this by saying the credentials mean nothing, but: I was an Art Major at university... I had a lot of good times years ago... and now my only access to talking with artists is y'all online..

Normally my timelapse videos are full of crazy indecisive pivots that arguably should not have happened, and for that reason they generally make me sad to see what could've been... But this is the most linear video I've had in a while and doesn't make me feel bad to watch so I'm sharing it, haha.

From this day, 13 years ago... Mahiña's hair is a lot larger today. Her belly too I guess. But I remember when I legitimately thought this was a lot of hair and a lot of belly. It's interesting how such perception changes over time.

Having an ongoing issue where if I draw on iPad/Procreate (left), I feel encouraged to relax and play with textures... but if I draw on desktop/ClipStudioPaint (right), I draw too tediously clean and tight. Not sure if it's because the hardware, the software tools, or where I'm physically sitting.

Lost my small game controller that I use for hotkeys in Procreate. Knew it would happen one day because small. I would feel slightly less bad about it if the developers for Procreate figured out that putting the “Undo” button literal millimeters away from “0% Tool Opacity” is a bad idea.

Just finally discovered there's a setting where the Eyedropper will snag the color of the layer instead of what is currently seen on screen, if that makes sense... this is so helpful and I wish I knew about it like uhh 20 years ago.
