Having to now manually screen orders because of an influx of people buying our cheapest ebook to (most likely) test out stolen credit card numbers. If I don't screen, their bank holds us liable and charges me a scam penalty, which happened last week. WILD that this is how commerce works!

Halfway through @gabedurham.bossfightbooks.com's book on Majora's Mask and I'm really interested in what it has to say about open and closed texts. I'm noticing in my own work I've felt a lot of pressure for the "meaning" to obvious and upfront, otherwise it doesn't get played at all. 🧵
