I’m teaching a course this year called HISTORY OF THE COSMOS, based on the field of Big History. It analyzes history from the moment of the Big Bang to the development of civilization. My hope with this course is to help students understand the vastness of our lives and encourage meaning.

Is this a distraction? Absolutely. But it also proves that the government can release classified files, so it only reinforces it.

There is a major misconception right now that MLK’s family (specifically children) did not want the files to be released. That’s a misnomer. They want the “release of these files must be viewed within their full historical context.” That is an important distinction.
