57 years ago a Saturn V rocket lifted off into the history books, as the Apollo 11 mission got underway. This is the first anniversary of this event where I can say I have seen humans go to the Moon with my own eyes.

I have always had a healthy respect for people that work in construction, but man after the past few weeks I am blown away by how effective they can be. The sheer volume of teamwork and communication between entire companies, and the speed in which stuff gets planned and then executed is wild.

It’s pretty damn amazing to watch the LM-10 flight test unfold like this after the constant rhetoric of “Oh its iterative design” from certain other programs… Turns out you can set your expectation as success from day 1 and it can work, even with a new idea.

It wouldn't hurt to treat the DC flyover and fireworks "celebration" like you would a forest fire: put bowls of water in your yard for scared, exhausted and overheated pets who are running from the exploding sky.

Take another look at last nights launch of LA-08 and the final Atlas V 551! This was my first time successfully using my 360 camera for a launch remote, so still a few adjustments to make but overall really happy with it!

Atlas V is an incredible rocket, and one I will miss dearly. Last night the final Atlas V 551 put on a show that can only be described as breathtaking. I have had one shot in mind for this variant for years, and not only did I finally get it on my last chance, it might be my best work yet.

This "Promise" pitch/floater will be a good test for the space press who primarily focus on human spaceflight. Talk to planetary scientists. Where's that RTG gonna come from (and take away from)? How in the world do they think it would actually be flight operable?

To anyone who thinks aggressive progressiveness is a weak strategy, its been beating the hell out of the appeasers.

Interesting launch out of Japan coming up this evening! The debut flight of the H3-30 rocket, the first fully liquid fueled orbital rocket Japan has ever flown! It features a modified H3 core with 3 LE-9 engines instead of 2, allowing it to fly without any addition thrust from SRB-3. 📸JAXA/MHI

It's honestly been so funny to watch this. I have a couple of friends in the creatives industry who had been replaced and or "augmented" with AI because it was "so much cheaper" and most of them have been hired back within months as these companies start to charge.

The entire pitch for the descoped Artemis III was to de-risk the lunar landers in LEO. The fact that the primary HLS provider for Artemis IV, SpaceX's Starship HLS, isn't even sending up an actual prototype of its lunar lander is pretty damning if you ask me.

I'm gonna be real. Prime becoming one of the broadcasters for NASCAR has been one of the best things to happen to this sport in YEARS. Their broadcasts are lightyears ahead of anything Fox or NBC had put together in years. Although the CW has also been doing a fantastic job in the O'Reilly series.
