When the US regains a rational - meaning non-Republican - government, we will need to figure out how to unshit the Iran bed - the Middle East bed. A great first step would be to disavow Israel and consign it to persona non grata status.

If the US does bomb Iran with a nuclear weapon, the next decade will be a nuclear arms race that will exceed the one in the ‘50s and ‘60s. Every country that can afford one will develop one, because they will see the US as a highly dangerous rogue state that needs to be deterred and contained.
