Afternoon all. I decided this morning I needed to see nature whilst I work so I've set up my little fold-out table by the patio door that looks out onto the garden. So far I've seen a family of bluetits, a pair of wood pigeons, a pair of goldfinches, a possible female chaffinch and a robin. 😌

Playing with die cutting again today. Trying out different card stock with new dies. I plan to make the embellishments for this year's Christmas card making class so I need to make a start so it doesn't get to be too onerous After lunch I made a Mother's Day card, luckily Mum loves sludgy green

My new toy! Over the years I ended up with a small collection of embossing folders and die cuts, so I thought it was about time to do something with them. Had a little play yesterday so I've some additions to this month's card making classes #MHHSBD

Spent the afternoon trying to fit a quart in a pint pot, or in other words tidying the craft stash. A sizable amount cleared out/reorganised & the yarn adjacent stuff moved to the yarn stash. The RU Boxes are full of care home crafts and I may have a washi tape addiction.

I'd stopped making yoghurt as my milk thermometer had broken. So I winged it last night and success! Strained off the whey so obviously had to make scones. "For science" I baked 2 in the air fryer. Slightly darker but same crumb. Next to try is freezing unbaked scones so I can bake as required.

Not sure whether to label these as craft or garden... 🧶🌱 I started the delayed annual repotting of my houseplants today. I knew the pothos needed a new support system so I've macramed 3 hoops together which can hang from the picture rail. It's a little wonky but it looks better than I hoped.
