Data Transfer Engine Console (DTEC) by TurboXS This is the latest addition to the collection, the very rare DTEC. This device allows you to monitor your car exhaust gas temperature, Boost, rpm, air-fuel ratio, etc. The device uses the GBA as display and input control by connecting to the Link port.

Big (positive) change are coming in my personal life which will affect my posting habits (starting this week), so you will less post for a while. Meanwhile I just acquired one of the rarest accessory for the GBA. Any guesses on what it might be?

Console #375 - Kiss-site by Tomy I hesitated to put this as a console as this is primarily a karaoke machine (a VCD player in fact), but edutainment and hobby content were announced to the platform, so it's kinda a count?!? Anyway, this is my list so I decided that it counts 😂

Pocket Dungeon for the PlayStation  Pocket Dungeon is a RPG game. You play the main game on the PocketStation as first person RPG fighting  monsters in  dungeons while the PlayStation game only features a gallery where the player can view all the monsters that he defeat in the PocketStation game.

Geoffrey Controller for the Nintendo 64 To the like of the Hello Mac controller from last week, this controller was exclusive to Toys “R” Us. By popular demand, I use again the Loopy's Magical Shop as background 😂

Console #374 - Pocket Station for the PlayStation [Black] This is a limited edition of the Pocket Station that was only available in the Yu-Gi-Oh! True Duel Monsters Sealed Memories First Press Limited Special Box which make it fairly difficult to acquired, especially in box (which is magnificent).

Chicane: Jenson Button Street Racing for the Gizmondo Chicane is a racing game that was developed for the Gizmondo. The console was discontinued before its release, but a few preview cartridges (like this one) exist.

Hello Mac N64 Controller  This controller was exclusively available from the Hello Mac store in Japan. It was given with the purchase of an N64 Console during the promotion period.

Console #373 - PocketStation by Sony [Crystal] The PocketStation was set to be released a few weeks before the Dreamcast, but it was postpone. It is very similar to the VMU and had tons of support for it. In the picture, the Exceed Memory Manager which let you upload games to it from your PC.

Great Naval Battle in the Sea of Japan for the Palcom The Palcom is a MSX computer that uses LaserDisc as software media. A few games were released on the system, including this one which is a strategic simulation game.

DS Digital TV Tuner by Nintendo Release in 2007, the name pretty much says it all: it's a digital TV Tuner for your Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi and DSi LL.

Console #372 - iGAME FAMILY by Elonex This is CRAP! I could stop there, but I will not. Elonex was known for their iPhone stand and decided to create a video game system. The games are downloaded from an online store onto a SD card.  The full boring story is in the comments section 😂

Console #371 - Wild King: Strongest Battle Zukan by Sega Toys  This is an updated version of the Mushiking. Both handheld are basically like Pokémon Go. You film your environment. In some place, a beetle will appear on the screen and you will need to fight it to catch it.

I was asked last week if I color code my shelves and I realized I don't really show off the shelves themselves. I want to do a game room tour in the future when all my stuff will be well organized, but meanwhile enjoy the Pink shelves.

Gunfighter / Moonship Battle for the RCA Studio II The first game, Gunfighter, is a somewhat good port of Gun Fight. Moonship Battle is pretty bad. It's pretty much the same, but with bad sprite, no obstacle and no movement limitation.

Console #368 - RCA Studio II by RCA Released only a few months after the Fairchild Channel F, this is the 2nd ROM-based console ever. It could have been the first but it was delayed by the FCC. But in the end, the RCA Studio was inferior being only Black & White and with no detachable controller.

Console #365 - Cassette Vision Jr. by Epoch To compete with the Famicom, Epoch release a budget version of the Cassette Vision. It's now only support one player, remove the expansion port (only used by the light gun) and change the controls from a dial to a lever.

PakPak Monster for the Cassette Vision PakPak Monster is Epoch takes on Pac-Man. With the limitation of the system, a full Pac-Man game was impossible, but they did a pretty decent job considering.

Too bad the Cassette Vision never got a Chrono Crusade game. Yes, I realize the Cassette Vision was discontinued 14 years before Chrono Crusade was published, but that's no excuse.

Big Sport 12 for the Cassette Vision This is the only accessory made for the Cassette Vision. This is a light gun made for the game Big Sport 12. It can only be used in this single game and therefore didn't sell very well.

In fact, while many other console such as the Atari 2600, the Intellivision and the Arcadia were imported to Japan which much larger library, this console was considered as the main player

Kikori no Yosaku for the Cassette Vision. Yosaku was developed by SNK in 1979. The game was inspired by the 1978 popular song "Yosaku" by Saburō Kitajima. It's one of the rarest arcades PCBs in Japan today. In 1981, Epoch made an unauthorized conversion for the Cassette Vision.
