Something I’m working on with my style right now is contending with the fact that I want fast results. I don’t want to have rushed work, I’m just keenly aware that with the amount of time I can spend on art atm that simplifying my style in some ways would be a step in the right direction.

Art has been slow, I’m still looking for a full time job and finding time to make art outside of commissions has been hard. Hopefully soon I’ll get back into the groove. For now here’s an old Affinity sketch I need to finish one day

Having a learning disability is so crippling and embarrassing sometimes. I can only learn to do things in specific ways and it makes me feel like an idiot. I can learn anything fast if I’m shown, but reading info and then applying it without visual demonstration? Useless.

I need a good L shaped desk that’s not too long or two short and it just doesn’t seem to exist anywhere. I’m debating just learning carpentry to make my own at this point 🫠
