My only gripe with this one is that it felt very weird having the main character be named by the player. The characters are so well written, INCLUDING the player character! He very much has his own voice, motivations, etc, and it never felt right having my name there, he’s not at all a blank slate.

Game 1 is Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved Excellent ADV/VN mystery! Story and dialogue were so well written, and menu choices flowed very naturally when working your way through a scene. Art style and sprite changes during dialogue are also on point! Hope we get sequels!

As it's a hot topic right now: We do not use any Gen AI or LLMs in any of our games & are not planning to. So far its implementations have felt far from "necessary" & come with a myriad of ethical/environmental concerns. But most importantly, we enjoy every step of the creative process without it.
