Pet a pig today, and met two Australians who played American football in America, who told me "Bear down." It's the wild west out here in Tokyo.

The photograph of mine that's made me the most money (not counting gigs), been downloaded and seen the most, is by far this one. It frequently gets sold as stock as data centers, technology, etc. It's a photo I took on my phone of an elevator shaft.

On Ben Lerner, and what happens when you call attention to a piece of art as art rather than obfuscating it?

I really try to give it a fair shake, but every day at work by about 3 or 4p, I think, yeah, I'm ready to go home. There's just no point working beyond that.

After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service
Ollang.com
for its dub closed captions!

It's crazy the business side of AI is basically identical to a group of friends venmoing each other the same $20 back and forth, except it's $1B.

if you think this can cure all cancers and you're not pushing budget to that, your focus is maximizing profit you could theoretically earn..from people who have cancer. but you think it has a maybe 2% chance. not worth diverting expenditures. ok so just don't pretend to care about cancer patients 😀

James is such a thoughtful writer. I too am constantly grateful for the ability to run, to move—and know it's not forever.

If pressed, I wouldn't say Chiramune is *good* necessarily, but I'm finding it weirdly compelling. Definitely feels like there's a lot going on under the surface, some untapped potential here.
