Just about gave myself a heart attack. Saw an area over by my stove glowing and flashing. That momentary fire panic set in until I realized the snow plow was coming down the street and it's lights were reflecting off the fridge surface.

Looks like about 5 inches maybe 6. In town report of 6.3, but I’m not buying that. Light & fluffy variety too. Dogs are not amused, particularly since the driveway had just melted off the previous snow yesterday.

So the snow band has officially moved over here.

Crazy how the sun makes a difference in heating for me, even with temps in the teens. A cloudy day yesterday meant I had to get the wood stove going because it was bottoming out at 60. Here’s today though with no fire and just sun and my SE exposure great room windows. Also…nice.

Great visit with @duncandahusky.wolfhusky.org. Good food, good chats, and he brought me a snowstorm I was personally thrilled about (him, not so much). Doggos were happy for the extra attention but didn't understand why they couldn't occupy lap space while he was also holding a laptop and coffee.

Damn, I think we ended up with around 10 inches here, with a lot of places reporting 12 or 13. It's a very narrow band of like 40 miles and once you get outside of it, it's quickly down to only and inch or two, or nothing.

One of the rare times the heaviest snow area set up over us. Supposed end up in the 6 to 8 inch range. They kept bumping the narrow band a bit north and added us to the winter storm warning. I think it's only because @duncandahusky.wolfhusky.org stopped for a visit on his way to MSP.
