Heck yeah, they upped the snow to 3-5” overnight. They cancelled work for tomorrow but want me to go in and clean up the snow for Tuesday. Want to definitely be out in the hot tub for that heavy snow, and hit the family driveways in the morning, work can wait a bit for the couple hours I’ll have.

Had a fantastic time at AQF with some great people, very happy I took the trip up there! For now, it’s nap time in the dog bed because my brain is not happy with the lack of sleep.

When I knew I was starting my first job at McDonald’s at 15 so I could buy a truck, I actually made paper cutouts of all the ingredients and taught myself proper sandwich assembly before I started. Idk if that’s cringe or cute, but I was just happy to make money and wanted to prove myself.

Fuck it. Last minute AQF room booked, gonna stop out there for tomorrow night and get out of the house before puppy comes and that’s not a thing anymore. Soooo who do I know going to AQF? Haha

Was gonna have some drinks and play video games, but really trying to avoid drinking and keep my two week streak going. So instead, I’ll be sitting on the garage floor welding up bolt on handle receivers. Then get them all drilled out. After that just two more handles to fab, and one box to weld.

Since I could never find jugs at work, then people kept taking them, I bought my own. Now I can carry enough oil and antifreeze around, and it’s my personal shit so I can tell people to fuck off when they wanna take anything.

Working until 3 today and have off tomorrow due to job complications. Thankful for that, I need a new welding bottle and they’re only open 7-4 m-f. Should be able to get all my con stuff finished up this weekend and maybe visit storage as well. Also cleaning and puppy proofing.

Sweet tooth is hitting hard right now, I want some chocolate chip cookies.

Absolutely the coolest thing about welding is getting to wear your hat backwards under your welding helmet. I’ve never felt so cool.

I try and stare at the weld arc just a second longer each time so my eyes can build up a good immunity.

Work has been such a mess that we decided to work 8 hours instead of 10. So I should be able to finish up all my welding stuff if I hop to it, and still have time to relax. Should get back on games with friends, been too long since I’ve done that. Want to try out new battlefield BR.

I did get started on making the handles for the boxes tonight, made all the little bullshit pieces, welded one together and on. Two get welded on, two will have to be drilled and bolted on at event. They put the pull handles too low on these, and they just wreck your back when loaded.

Well, that’s the first time I’ve used acre feet before. .01 acre feet comes out to 16 cubic yards, which is what this pond is short of volume by. So cut out a semi load and it’s good.

Welp, landfill operators are striking, and I can’t cross that picket line. At least I get to finally see some other jobs, it’s been a whole year now since I’ve been at this one.

According to DST, I slept in today and I’ll take it. Now I just need to will myself out of bed and get started on all my convention welding and fab work. 5 boxes each need wheels, strap lugs, and handles built and welded on. Then fab up handles for boxes not in my possession to be bolted on at con.

Yeah I’m still gonna wake up at 5, but at least I don’t /have/ to tomorrow. Which is good, because I’m trapped.

My pick is confirmed, Po has a face now and it is very potato. Two more weeks, she told me I could pick him up as early as 7am, so either I’m leaving my house at 3am or I’m getting a room nearby and leaving Friday after work.

I went to such an amazing Halloween party. I dressed up as a guy with work tomorrow and fell asleep in bed at 8. Dunno why my body decided to be awake now, but back to bed soon enough.

Was hoping I might get luck with the bit of rain and have off tomorrow, and making the 8 hour round trip to Iowa to look at puppies. But no such luck, so I’ll pick which one is mine in a video call after work tomorrow. Excited to find out which potato I’m getting! This is one of the front runners.

I should be leaving for work right now and I still have to pack everything up, strap my smoker down, and prep ribs. I should stop doing shit like this.

Dunno how long I’ll be waiting, but eventually a Fallout 3 remaster is coming, and that makes me happy. Also I got 4.5 hours of sleep, today is not gonna be a good day.

I think it’s time to start buying smaller clothes, my hoodies are getting that femboy fit to them.

Got FaRT triggers for the Vector and the AR, need to find some time to put them on and hit the range before they become illegal and I have to throw them away.
