My main advice I give to ppl who want to write comics: 1: Study screenwriting and filmmaking. Learn camera language, the 180 degree rule, when to use types of shots for diff emotional beats, etc 2: Study storyboarding, especially how to compose & stage a scene. 3: Read so. many. comics.

For context little bit of Tahni lore, if you look up child parentification … my picture is probably there ( I’m kidding ) . But I took care of my father since I was 8 years old ( for reference I was born in 1991 ) up until he died maybe almost 4 years now so sometimes I get sad

lol I also tend to feel a little braver sharing my thoughts at night too. It’s easier to think because everything is calm… when my dad was still alive , we used to sit at the table and listen to music and he’d let me ramble all my thoughts and story ideas … or i’s read my outlines to him

Also fun news ! I’m a twitch affiliate now !! It’s been really fun streaming games … and last stream I had a improtu conversation about artist that I really like … at some point I wanna do more talking about art and design centering around games that inspire me or character designs that I love!!
