I’ve seen a lot of negative posts on Twitter about how the hungry caterpillar is a “ugly” book bc the drawings are not hyper realistic and it makes me sad that people have that sentiment that “good” art HAS to look like it’s real life depiction. There are many factors that make a good piece of art

Also silly little thing … I’ve been working really hard at teaching myself Spanish ( I grew up only knowing a few words bc the Mexican half of my family didn’t really speak it bc when my grandma was young it was frowned upon. ) I speak it everyday at work but I have a fear of speaking it to adults

Little exciting thing! I will be going to college for the first time ever ! ( for summer classes but it’s still really big for me ! ) I dropped out of highschool to be a full time caregiver for my dad and didn’t get my diploma until 2021 … so now .. College student !!
