It is bullshit that my 17 yr old son, who is trans, on testosterone for three years, is turned away from top surgery by everyone and insurance until he’s 19; but cis boys w/ gynecomastia can get it at 16 with parent permission.

I will be voting for the most progressive left candidates this Primary and in November. If you’re centrist or waffling on support for the trans community, especially youth, in terms of sports, access to health care, equitable treatment under the law, and bathrooms you WILL NOT get my vote. Period. 🏳️‍⚧️

Mamdani, Talarico, every single Dem who initially supports trans youth has capitulated. We are a talking point. We aren’t allowed in the room when people make policies. I am done with Democrats. Not a single one has taken an informed, unwavering stance for trans youth and established health care.

First local Pride event this month with the gf and some kiddos. It was like 93°, and I was melting 🫠 🥵 (my fit before getting hot and sweaty). Not a lot of activities, mostly vendor booths. They did have a good drag story hour for the kids though. #Pride 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Why did you transition, right answers only. I had been struggling for decades with bouts of depression, self hate, and denial. I couldn’t be happy, no matter what I did. I had breakdown one evening and knew it was either transition now, or maybe not make it further.
