Couple names I’ve heard are in the mix for coaching spots under Mike Sullivan with #NYR: Joe Sacco, recently Bruins interim HC, and David Quinn, former #NYR HC who was with Sullivan in Pittsburgh last season. Quinn is a candidate for the Penguins coaching spot.

#NYR D K'Andre Miller had surgery for a upper-body injury, according to a league source. Will be back around the start of the regular season. Injury occurred near the end of this past season, tried to rehab it but surgery was ultimate decision. Miller is an RFA.

#Isles got the bad goalie interference ruling a week ago and haven't recovered, but let's be honest -- after the deadline this was the least skilled lineup in the East. They were still in the race because they work hard. A lot needs to change for this team to be good again.
