Tropical Storm Sara is slowly creeping toward landfall near Belize overnight and into Sunday. Winds are holding at 45 mph but interaction with the Yucatán Peninsula, and much cooler water in the Bay of Campeche, are likely to inhibit any significant reformation after it remerges on the other side.

Say what you want about the quality of the main event but the sheer amount of eyeballs on combat sports tonight is pretty special. I wish the pacing was better for the event overall but Serrano/Taylor 2 likely created some core memories for new fight fans. Welcome!

Philadelphia has only seen 0.69 inches of rain in TWO MONTHS. Lots of folks running 7 inches or more behind since mid-September. Our "flash drought" is also leading to fire weather concerns along the Acela Corridor.

Good news – Sara is NOT going to be a U.S. threat at all. Florida – you're essentially in the clear. Why? A high pressure dome over the Gulf will suppress the storm farther south, pushing it inland over Central America. It will be weakened so much that it should dissipate by Monday.
