E is on an IEP; autism/adhd. But beyond that, she has no math comprehension. If she’s not using fingers she cannot complete the simplest addition/subtraction. Looked into addl testing; it can’t be accessed. She is so smart, witty, and well-read… but I fear she will not graduate without intervention.

It should be needless to say, but it is perhaps at this moment worth saying, that transgender individuals have the same right as anyone else to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
