For the third day of #12DaysOfWRUP, we’re diving into what Open Access (OA) means. At WRUP, all our publications are open access - meaning anyone, anywhere, can read, download, and share research for free. Open access widens readership, boosts visibility, and helps knowledge travel further.

For the second day of #12DaysOfWRUP, we’re sharing a bit about our story and mission. WRUP was founded in 2016 by the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield, and York to publish high-quality, open access academic work. In 2026, we’ll be celebrating our 10th anniversary — 👀 this space for details!
